A couple of weeks ago I did a blog post about building my own costume. My inspiration came after going to the Dallas Fan Expo. I decided that I was going to be a member of the Pangere, dragon riders from Gexalatia! My first attempt at my Pangere costume didn't go quite as planned, but I have ordered some pieces on Amazon, and I'm planning to build something awesome for Comicpalooza this weekend! I even colored my hair to get in the spirit! :-D

In other exciting news, I was asked to participate in a podcast! It is called Authors of the Round Table, and we recorded our first episode on Tuesday! It was really fun, with authors from Texas, Florida, and Australia! Because of the time difference, I had to get up super early (we recorded at 6 in the morning!!), but it was awesome and we had a really great conversation.
